Does it come with or without a lag-warning (only visible if it's set to 'on')?.
NO:
1. Could be the video card (not enough ram-memory)? Lower settings when you start the game (not entering a server): - lower your video quality - lower the FPS (frames pro second)
2. When you start the game, before entering a server: set download to OFF (could block your connection and result in a general block).
Or... give more info... so we can try to help you out.

Nah, on sgd server i've 200/300 fps. My video card is ok. No lag warning to.
Hmm.. more info.. I think its my game. I playing sof for years now, and its only the last year... I've conferted my PC allready and install everything again. But it wont help. Maby CD/Cd key/ PB guid fault...?? dunno
But in the sgd server is nothing wrong... is sgd server a pure server? Maby is that something... When im in the game, first nothing happend. But after a while first 1 schock.. and after 20 sec. my pc stucks....

Hmm normally PB or guidproblems don't result in blocking a central processing unit. The only time I got probs with PBuster were: - guid invalid (something got into the cfg that contained the key - reïnserted the key and problem solved); - few months ago the server only got 'black PB screens', I just could solve it after trying a lot of ways: reformatting the whole pc and reïnstalling everything. Never found out why... Jack blocked me in sofII because of this (and he was right - could not verify if I cheated or not); ;D - not being up-to-date with punkbuster, but that would mean you did not update for a long while. I use the external program: Punkbuster Setup v2.5 for that. www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-sof2.phpBut from the small info we got, I think it's the processing you got problems with. Is there enough space left on the hard disk or partition for the temporary memory? Have you tried to defragment the disk? When you removed the SOFII, have you deleted the maps and rest-files under \program files\soldiers of fortune double helix II\ ? Sry can't help you out any further than this. I'd go for the videocard that gives probs (correct driver installed, updated it recently?). Have three units over here - 1 fujitsu siemens desktop - 1 fujitsu siemens laptop - 1 compaq desktop And with 2 of them at a certain moment had to put in a new videocard, they failed without any reason or the screen froze after 10-20 minutes when asking high performance. The retail told me the cause was probably: dust, heat or moving the things to much. Advice: try a card from another unit (don't forget the drivers if necessary) so you're sure. And I hope I'm wrong... ;D Successsss!

The screenshot was the best info you could give, and Headshot Gates gave the working solution. ;D Could appear in several cases. The only way to know sometimes something more about the problem is indeed: setting download to YES. Could be: - punkbuster not updated (too long ago) - problems with osp (not the right version) - a file missing - or a file that is 'corrupted': this appears when something goes wrong when you enter a server and you have downloaded to much 'garbage' during your settings for download were on 'YES'. If the PB/OSP solution doesn't work, clean up all the garbage files in the directories (if you have them): \base\mp \osp \rocmod \goldrush \Pwn[BOT] For OSP: - no problem, you can download all OSP files you want (client version) and install all versions under the /osp - directory (have 7 versions on my own system); - search the net with parameter: osp-clientside download For PB: - for download, I use a separate program file because otherwise my ping occurs higher in the game (could result to an autokick on some servers). www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php. Do the update at least once a week. File missing: - reinstall everything (keep the maps in a separate directory to avoid re-download afterwards.
